How much does it cost to store your bicycle in the bicycle storage facilities?

Automated bicycle storage facilities

Some stations have automated bicycle storage facilities. These facilities will keep your bicycle safe and dry, and are open from first train run in the morning until the last train in the evenings.

How much does it cost?

You pay € 92 for a year’s storage, plus € 20 deposit for an access pass. Storing your bicycle for a day costs € 1.10 for 24 hours.

Registration

You can reserve a permanent space via www.ns.nl/fietskluis (Dutch only). If you only use the bicycle storage facilities only occasionally, you can pay by the day using your Chipknip or Chippas card.

How much does it cost to store your bicycle in a bicycle lock-up?

• Season ticket for a bicycle lock-up: € 96.
• You pay this sum in advance and pay a one-off deposit of € 40.
• If you wish to use the bicycle lock-up for only a few months, you will be charged at the monthly rate of €11/month. As soon as you cancel your season ticket you will be refunded the excess payment (€ 96 minus the number of months the bicycle storage was used times the €11 monthly fee).
