Requesting check-in and check-out for an NS Business Card

There is no longer any need to book your train journey in advance with NS. Instead, you can simply check in and out at the station using your NS Business Card.

You can apply to allow your NS Business Card to be used for checking in and out using the link below. You need to do this only once. Shortly after submitting your request, you will receive an e-mail stating that you can activate your Card at an NS ticket machine at an NS station, or at one of the other pickup points for the OV chipkaart (public transport smart card). Go to www.ov-chipkaart.nl/adresvinder for an overview of the pickup points. From then on, you register your journey simply by holding your NS Business Card up to the NS card reader at the start and end of your journey.

If you travel with an NS Business Card Dal, you do not need to request check-in and check-out. With an NS-Business Card Dal you register your journey simply by holding your card up to the NS card reader at the station at the start and end of your journey.
