Correction fares
Correction fares are charged by NS when passengers are found not to be
travelling in accordance with the terms and conditions. For example, if a
passenger checks in but then fails to check out, NS is unable to determine the
fare for the journey. NS applies a correction fare for this.
The table below shows which situations are subject to a correction fare.
Fraud is unrelated to correction fares.
