Travelling by train
With your new NS-Business Card, you will be able to travel by checking in at your departure station and checking out at your destination station. Your card is ready for use as soon as you receive it. All you have to do is scan (check-in/check-out) your NS-Business Card using the NS card reader at a gate or free-standing post. You or the stated company contact will receive a invoice once a month showing your journeys.
If you switch carriers during the course of your journey, you will need to check-out at carrier 1 and then check-in at carrier 2 to continue your journey. You are not yet able to check-in and check-out everywhere. See which rail carriers and urban and regional carriers currently let you check-in and check-out with your NS-Business Card.

Travelling with Fyra
Fyra is the quickest link between Amsterdam, Schiphol, Rotterdam and Breda. You can arrange a supplement for a single journey, a return journey or even for an entire month via Mijn NS Zakelijk or directly at an NS ticket machine. It is quick and simple; the supplement will be charged to your account. You can use the NS-Business Card to travel with the ICE International on domestic routes without paying a supplement.
Travelling by bus, tram and metro
You can use the new NS-Business Card to check in and out for journeys by bus, tram and metro in all affiliated carriers. An invoice showing your journeys you have made is sent to your employer at the end of every month - so that is one less expense declaration to worry about.
NS is working hard with other urban and regional carriers to make it possible to use the NS-Business Card in other parts of the Netherlands.
Please note: The invoice is sent to your employer after the period has ended. It shows the costs for journeys by NS (train) all affiliated carriers. If you forget to check in with your NS-Business Card for affiliated carriers journey and there is an inspection, an official report will be made in accordance with the standard procedure at affiliated carriers. Furthermore, a penalty fare will be charged if you fail to check out with all affiliated carriers.

Travelling by other modes of transport
OV-fiets or NS-scooter
You can also have your NS-Business Card scanned at the supervised bicycle storage facilities to hire an OV-fiets public transport bicycle. You can also pick up a public transport bicycle from an OV-fiets locker or box. For an NS-scooter, you will also have to present your driving licence or scooter licence and sign a rental agreement. You can then pick up your bicycle or scooter straight away. An NS-scooter must be returned at the same rental location. There is a surcharge if you want to return a public transport bicycle at a different location.
Taxi
Booking a taxi from the station using your NS-Business Card is very easy. There is no need for you any longer to pay it first, keep the receipts and then declare the expenses. Your taxi trip can be booked online by logging in using your card number and PIN code via Mijn NS Zakelijk. If you book a taxi trip using a departmental card, please also state your name in the comments field. You can also book by telephone no later than half an hour beforehand via 0900 204 2000 (€0.10 per minute).
Greenwheels-huurauto
To book a Greenwheels-huurauto, Greenwheels rental car, you must first register via the Greenwheels website. You then log in via Mijn NS Zakelijk. Select Greenwheels boeken (Book Greenwheels). You will be redirected to the Greenwheels site, where you can fill in the details required. After you receive your confirmation, you can start driving a Greenwheels rental car right away.
Use of additional services
Bicycle storage facilities at the station
After you have had your NS-Business Card scanned in and a barcode has been affixed to your bicycle, you can put it in the supervised storage area.
Parking at Q-Park P+R
When you hold your NS-Business Card Dal up to the card reader as you drive in or out, the barrier will open. In Gouda and Sittard, you receive a ticket that you can pay for at the car park ticket machine using your NS-Business Card.
NS Hispeed Lounge
You have free access to the lounges at Amsterdam Centraal, Rotterdam Centraal, Schiphol and Breda stations.
Regus
Your NS-Business Card gives you a 15% discount on Regus workspaces and meeting rooms. Showing your NS-Business Card will give you access at any of their locations. The receptionist at the Regus location will then guide you through optional Regus facilities for which you have to pay an additional fee on-site.
Useful information
Not booked or checked in
If all the gates or check-in/check-out columns at a station are not working, you can book the journey online or purchase a paper ticket. If you are unable to present a paper ticket to the inspector and have not checked in or not made the booking correctly, a correction fare will appear on your invoice.
Forgotten to check out?
If you forgot to check out with NS, you can still do this until 04:00 that night. If you want to cancel your journey after checking in, you can check out again free of charge at the same station up to 60 minutes later.
Forgotten your NS-Business Card Dal?
If you have forgotten your NS-Business Card, you can buy a ticket at an NS sales outlet. If you only discover in the train that you do not have your card on you, the ticket inspector will charge you the journey fare plus the legal penalty.
Loss or theft
If your NS-Business Card is lost or stolen, you should report this immediately to your employer's contact for NS.
Privacy
Using your NS-Business Card means that you have accepted the terms and conditions of the public transport smart card and the product terms and conditions of the NS-Business Card. NS may use your personal details to inform you about products and services. Your details will not be passed on to third parties.
