Forgot your NS-Business Card?

If you notice that you have forgotten your NS-Business Card before your journey, then you can avoid paying a fine by using another OV-chipkaart or purchasing a single-use chipkaart. If you are already aboard the train, you will be fined if you cannot show a valid ticket.


Requesting a refund when you forget your NS-Business Card with season ticket

If you have a Traject Vrij, Trein Vrij or OV Vrij season ticket on your NS-Business Card, but have forgotten to bring your card with you, then you can request a refund for the travel costs that would be covered by your season ticket. You may request refunds for up to 3 days per calendar year.

Door-to-door services

If you forget your NS-Business Card, then unfortunately you cannot utilise the door-to-door services, such as bicycle storage or OV-fiets rental.
