Lost or stolen door to door services

When your OV-fiets or OV-fiets key is lost or stolen, you should notify NS as quickly as possible.


Stolen OV-fiets

Notify the police immediately and report the theft to us using the contact form in your personal Mijn deur tot deur environment. If you cannot log in to your personal environment, send us an e-mail via info@ov-fiets.nl with the subject line 'OV-fiets gestolen'.

In the correspondence, report the OV-fiets number (see bicycle key), the rental location and the date and time when the OV-fiets was stolen. Then send the police report and the bicycle key to our address.

When an OV-fiets is stolen, you will be charged a deductible. You can find this deductible in the OV-fiets rates list at the bottom of the page. If you do not send a police report and the key to the OV-fiets, then you will be charged for the new value of the OV-fiets in accordance with Article 14 of the General Terms and Conditions. The new value is also listed on the rate list.

Lost or stolen OV-fiets key

Report the theft to us using the contact form in your personal Mijn deur tot deur environment. If you cannot log in to your personal environment, send us an e-mail via info@ov-fiets.nl with the subject line 'Sleutel verloren of gestolen'. You will be charged for the cost of a new key as listed on the OV-fiets rate list in accordance with Article 14 of the General Terms and Conditions.

Lost or stolen OV-chipkaart or NS-Business Card

Go to your personal Mijn deur tot deur environment and block your card for the door-to-door services. Do not forget to block your OV-chipkaart or NS-Business Card as well via ov-chipkaart.nl or Mijn NS Zakelijk. You can then link your OV-fiets season ticket to your new OV-chipkaart or NS-Business Card via your personal environment as soon as you receive it.
