Refunds for loss or theft
Your OV-chipkaart has been lost or stolen, but you still need to travel. If you normally travel using NS Flex or a season ticket, then you will incur double the normal expense. In that case, you can request a refund.
How it works
- Block your lost or stolen OV-chipkaart, and request a replacement.
- If you would like to travel before your replacement card arrives, you must arrange for valid ticket
s, such as an anonymous OV-chipkaart, a single-use OV-chipkaart, or an e-ticket.
- You can then claim a refund for these expenses from NS Customer Service day or night by calling 030 - 751 51 55, or sending a message via Twitter@NS_online or Facebook.
