Other carriers: East Netherlands
When the new timetable comes into effect, other carriers will be running on the railways in East Netherlands.
- The rail service between Zwolle and Kampen will be provided by Keolis Netherlands (previously Syntus). The new station Zwolle Stadshagen will open on this line. The official opening was scheduled for 10 December 2017, but has been delayed until further notice due to the need to limit speeds on the route between Zwolle and Kampen due to the instability of the soil under the rail line.
- The rail service between Zwolle and Enschede will be taken over by Keolis Nederland (previously Syntus). This line will also carry the new sneltrein service between Raalte and Enschede.
The trains operated by Keolis Nederland on the routes Zwolle-Kampen, Zwolle-Enschede and Zutphen-Oldenzaal, as well as the trains operated by Arriva on the routes Zwolle-Emmen and Almelo-Mariënberg, will run under the new brand name Blauwnet.
All season tickets and other tickets issued by NS will also be valid in Blauwnet trains. Please note that you must remember to check in and out with the correct rail carrier. For example, if you transfer from NS to Blauwnet, you must first check out with NS and then check in again with Blauwnet using the check in- and out posts at the platform.
