NS Stations is investing in several major stations in the Netherlands, in order to receive ever-larger numbers of travelers and to better meet the needs of those travelers. Several key projects have already been completed: Rotterdam Centraal in 2014, and Delft and Arnhem Centraal in 2015. Others are still in progress or will be completed over the next 10 years.
Renovations at Amsterdam Centraal
Over the next few years, Amsterdam Centraal Station will undergo a complete metamorphosis. The Netherlands' busiest monument will be re-built into a high-quality grand entrance to the city.
New Den Haag Centraal
Over the next few years, Den Haag Centraal will receive a completely new station building where all modes of public transportation come together.
New station Utrecht Centraal
Starting in 2016, Utrecht Centraal will be the place where the train, bus and tram all seamlessly connect together.
New station Breda
The connection to the international high-speed rail line will result in even more passengers passing through station Breda, so the station will need to be renovated.
