With the OV-pass, data about journeys and season tickets is stored securely in an online account instead of on the card itself, as is the case with the OV-chipkaart. This new technology offers more opportunities for new services, products and self-service. In addition, the OV-pas is more secure thanks to modern security requirements and is ready for digital use in the future.
