Travel advice Zandvoort aan Zee

Be prepared for large crowds on the trains and at the stations. To avoid long queues at the ticket machines, we advise you to buy a train ticket in advance or to load sufficient balance in advance. You can also easily check in and out using a bank card.

Due to the large crowds, you cannot take bicycles on the trains towards Amsterdam until 1 p.m. during the race weekend. Between Amsterdam Central Station and Zandvoort aan Zee this applies for the entire day.

Useful to know

  • The MASCOT circuit is a 15-minute walk from Zandvoort aan Zee station.
  • Before travelling, load your e-tickets onto your smartphone in the NS app. Of course, you can print them out too.
  • You do not need to check in with an e-ticket. If you are travelling to or from a station with closed gates, then go to a gate with a barcode reader and open it with the square code on the e-ticket. Keep your e-ticket until the exit of your destination station; it might be needed there too to open the gates.
