How do I get the 65+ discount?

  1. Choose NS Flex Weekend Vrij or NS Flex Dal Vrij in the webshop.
  2. Enter your personal details when you place your order. The 65+ discount will be applied automatically.

Do you already have a personal OV-chipkaart?

Enter your card number when ordering. After your order, go once to an NS Ticket Machine at the station to load the season ticket onto your card.

Do you not have a personal OV-chipkaart yet?

Request a personal OV-chipkaart free of charge when you place your order. You will usually receive the personal OV‑chipkaart at home within about five working days. The season ticket will already be on the card; you do not need to go to an NS Ticket Machine.

What are Keuzedagen?

Are you 60 or older and do you have a Dal Voordeel-abonnement op saldo? You can order Keuzedagen. Keuzedagen let you travel free during off-peak hours for seven days a year. Keuzedagen 2nd class cost € 34,95 a year; 1st class cost € 67,50 a year.

What is NS Flex Dal Vrij?

Do you mainly travel on weekdays outside the busiest times? NS Flex Dal Vrij 65+ could be a good choice. If you are 65 or over you pay much less: € 59,95 per month instead of € 127,95. The off-peak hours are Monday to Friday before 06:30, between 09:00 and 16:00 and after 18:30.

At weekends and on public holidays you can travel during off-peak hours all day. With Dal Vrij 65+ you can travel outside the busiest times as often as you like for a single low monthly price.

What is NS Flex Weekend Vrij?

With NS Flex Weekend Vrij 65+ you can travel as much as you like from Friday evening 18:30 until Monday morning 04:00, and on public holidays, for € 28,95 per month. This saves you € 10,55 per month compared with the regular Weekend Vrij season ticket. You will see the lower season ticket cost when ordering after you have entered your date of birth.

Which products can NS PrijsTijd Deal be used for?

NS PrijsTijd Deal is sold only as a single ticket on an e-ticket, available in 1st class and 2nd class, and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. NS PrijsTijd Deal is not available for the OV-chipkaart, as a season ticket or as a Day return.

How many people can travel on the Group off-peak ticket?

The Group off-peak ticket can be used by a group of two to seven people. The larger the group, the greater the savings. Each person in the group receives their own e-ticket single ticket group 2nd class.

What do I need to do to travel with a payment card?

You do not need to do anything in advance to travel with your payment card. You do not need to register. You must, of course, have a valid payment card that allows contactless payments.
