Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2026

On 21, 22 and 23 August the racing spectacle returns to Zandvoort. Thousands of racefans travel to the circuit every day during the race weekend. NS will run extra trains to Amsterdam/Zandvoort on these days. Book your train ticket to Zandvoort in advance and skip the queue at the NS Ticket Machine. Are you travelling on Saturday 22 August? The Dutch Grand Prix is easily accessible by public transport from across the Netherlands and Belgium. The MASCOT Circuit Zandvoort is within walking distance of Zandvoort aan Zee station,

Travel advice Zandvoort aan Zee

Expect heavy crowds on the trains and at stations. To avoid long queues at the NS Ticket Machine, we recommend buying your ticket in advance or loading enough balance beforehand. You can also easily check in and check out with a payment card.

Because of the crowds, bicycles cannot be taken on the trains between Amsterdam Centraal and Zandvoort aan Zee.

Good to know

  • Load your e-tickets onto your phone in the NS app before you travel. You can of course print them as well.
  • Remember to bring a valid form of ID.
  • You do not need to check in with an e-ticket. Gates can be opened using the e-ticket in the NS app.
