With the Euregioticket you can travel for a whole day for only € 23,50 across the Maas-Rijn area. The Euregioticket is valid in southern Limburg and in parts of Germany and Belgium.

Good to know

Ticket outlets
The Euregioticket is available at several stations in South Limburg that are part of the Euregio Maas-Rijn. These are the stations from Roermond southwards, and those in Belgian Limburg, Liège province and the Aachen region.

At Maastricht station you can buy the Euregioticket as a single-use chip card without a surcharge at the NS Tickets & Service shop / OV Service & Tickets shop. This paper OV-chipkaart is valid with all train and bus operators.

Validity of the Euregioticket
The Euregioticket is valid:

  • For one person from Monday to Friday
  • At the weekend and on public holidays for five people (two adults and three children aged four to eleven)
  • Valid on all buses and trains in the Maas-Rijn area, except Eurostar, ICE and Nightjet.

If you travel at the weekend with several people on one Euregioticket, up to five people can pass through the gates using the same barcode. Let your fellow travellers pass through one by one first, and go through the gate yourself last.

Which buses and trains is the Euregio-ticket valid on?

By bus
The Euregioticket is valid on all scheduled buses in the Maas-Rijn area. In the Netherlands the ticket is valid on all Arriva buses in South Limburg up to and including the municipality of Roermond, excluding the OV Shuttle and night services.

By train
In Germany: in RegionalExpress, RegionalBahn and S-Bahn trains
In Belgium: in all trains on routes within the Euregio Maas-Rijn, but not in Eurostar, ICE and Nightjet
In the Netherlands: in all trains on routes in South Limburg from Roermond southwards
