With the Holland Travel Ticket you travel on a Day ticket that is valid for all public transport across the Netherlands. For € 70 you can travel unlimited for one day by train, tram, bus and metro. No hassle with single tickets and you can be on your way quickly.

For € 48 you can buy the Holland Travel Ticket Off-Peak. This allows travel Monday to Friday except between 06:30 and 09:00. You can travel all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Ticket validity
The Holland Travel Ticket is not valid on Eurostar or Nightjet. It is valid on Intercity direct and ICE only with a surcharge.

Buying the Holland Travel Ticket online
You can buy this ticket online as a voucher from Discover Holland. Redeem the voucher later for a Holland Travel Ticket at a station with an NS Tickets & Service shop / OV Service & Tickets shop or at the tourist machines at Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Centraal stations.

The Holland Travel Ticket is also available to buy directly at all stations with an NS Tickets & Service shop / OV Service & Tickets shop and at the NS Ticket Machines.

Hold your Holland Travel Ticket against a post or gate to check in for your journey. Use the same action to check out when you leave the train and the station on arrival. You must check in and out for each carrier, including when you change to a bus, tram or metro. Check out at an NS card reader before you check in with another carrier.

At which stations can I redeem my Holland Travel Ticket voucher?

You can only redeem your voucher for a Holland Travel Ticket at NS Tickets & Service shop / OV Service & Tickets shop counters and at the tourist machines at the following stations: Amsterdam Centraal, Amsterdam Sloterdijk, Amsterdam Zuid, Den Haag Centraal, Eindhoven, Haarlem, Maastricht, Rotterdam Centraal, Schiphol Airport and Zaandam.

Who is the Holland Travel Ticket for?

The Holland Travel Ticket is aimed at international tourists, but anyone may use it.

Is the Holland Travel Ticket valid on Intercity direct, Eurostar and/or ICE?

The same rules apply to the Holland Travel Ticket as to the NS Dagkaart. It is not valid on Eurostar and is valid on Intercity direct and ICE only with a surcharge.

How do I travel with a Holland Travel Ticket?

You travel with a Holland Travel Ticket in the same way as with a regular single-use chip card: show it on request during a vehicle inspection, check in and out for each carrier, and travel within the stated times.
