Getting there by train

Lowlands is very easy to reach by train. Traveling with NS is relaxed, fast and a more sustainable way to get to Biddinghuizen.

At Lelystad station (Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday) and Dronten station (Thursday to Monday) free shuttle buses will take you to the festival site. A separate entrance lets you walk straight in and skip the queue at the wristband tent so you can start enjoying Lowlands sooner. On the return journey the shuttle bus will leave the car park without you having to wait.

Good to know

  • On Thursday morning the first shuttle bus departs from both Lelystad and Dronten at 07:00. The last shuttle bus leaves on Monday at 14:00.
  • Tickets are personal and cannot be changed or cancelled after purchase.
  • If you travel with a ticket valid during off-peak hours, it is valid on weekdays until 06:30, from 09:00 to 16:00 and after 18:30. It is valid all day at weekends and on public holidays.
  • Load your e-tickets onto your phone in the NS app before you travel. You can also print them if you prefer.
  • Remember to bring a valid form of identification.
  • You do not need to check in with an e‑ticket. Gates with a barcode reader can be opened using the e‑ticket in the NS app.
  • If you would like to receive notifications about your journey, you can turn them on in the NS app.
