Accessing the station as a local resident
Do you live right next to a station? An Interwijkpas lets you walk through the gates without using your OV-chipkaart. This makes it easy and quick to get from one side of the station to the other.
Apply for an Interwijkpas
If you live near one of the following stations, you are eligible:
- Alkmaar
- Amersfoort Central
- Amsterdam Amstel
- Deventer
- Dordrecht
- Eindhoven Central
- Gouda
- Leiden Central
- Sittard
- Weesp
We will review your application carefully. Only residents within a specified postcode area qualify for an Interwijkpas. This area is defined in cooperation with the local council.
You will receive the pass within five to ten working days after your application has been approved.
How the Interwijkpas works
This pass lets you open the gates at the station for free. After that, you have 59 minutes to move through the station.
The pass is issued in your name and cannot be used by others. You cannot travel with it, nor can any balance or products be added. The pass is valid only for the station where you applied for it.
