How it works
To rent a Dott bike you need an NS Flex subscription. This is how to rent a bike:
- Open the NS app.
- Log in to Mijn NS (top right).
- Tap the map at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap a available bike and walk to it.
- Choose 'Start my ride' when you are ready to start cycling.
Stop your ride
You can stop the rental of your bike at any time in the NS app. Make sure you park the bike in one of the designated parking zones. These are spread across the city, not just at stations.
Dott bike costs
The rental price for a Dott shared bike is € 0,29 per minute and is the same in every city. You always pay a starting fee of € 1. The cost of your ride continues until you stop it.
Paying for your ride
You pay separately for each ride you take on a Dott bike. We charge the cost of your rides monthly from your account, together with the costs of your NS Flex subscription.
You can find the cost of your ride in the transactions section in Mijn NS. You also receive a monthly invoice from us showing all the rides you made that month.
