We base the compensation on the single fare for the NS route you travelled. If you receive a discount through your season ticket we use the discounted fare.

** We calculate this based on the monthly amount. If the journey does not fall within your free travel period we base the compensation on the single fare (including discount) for the NS route travelled.
*** For all NS-Business Cards with a season ticket (Dal, Traject Vrij and Trein Vrij), when you check in during off-peak hours the compensation is based on the fare with a 40% discount.
**** We only compensate the part of the ticket that is attributable to us.
