Luggage Locker

Heading out for the day but do not want to carry a heavy bag? Rent a luggage locker at the station. This keeps your belongings safe so you can enjoy your day stress-free.

How to rent a luggage locker at the station

Wondering how to rent a locker?

  • First, find a station that has luggage lockers.
  • Put your belongings in a locker and close the door.
  • Pay for one day using the screen next to the lockers.
  • Take the printed receipt with you and keep it safe.
  • To open the locker, simply scan the receipt.

Please note:

  • You can only open the locker once.
  • If you rent the locker for more than one day, you will pay the additional fee when opening it.
  • You can rent a locker for up to three days. After three days, the locker may be emptied.

Locker sizes

There are three types of lockers:

  • Small locker: 85 cm deep, 45 cm high, 35 cm wide
  • Large locker: 85 cm deep, 60 cm high, 35 cm wide
  • XL locker: 85 cm deep, 95 cm high, 35 cm wide

Amsterdam Centraal

Small locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 10
  • Second and third day: € 15 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 20 per day

Large locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 16
  • Second and third day: € 22 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 32 per day

XL locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 25
  • Second and third day: € 35 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 45 per day

Rotterdam Centraal

Small locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 9
  • Second and third days: € 12 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 15 per day

Large locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 14
  • Second and third days: € 17 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 22 per day

Utrecht Centraal

Small locker

  • First day (24 hours): € nine

  • Second and third days: € eight per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € ten per day

Large locker (from 1 July)

  • First day (24 hours): € eight
  • Second and third days: € 11 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 15 per day

Station Heerlen, Den Haag HS en Dordrecht

Small locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 6,50
  • Second and third days: € 10 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 13 per day

Large locker

  • First day (24 hours): € 8,50
  • Second and third days: € 13 per day
  • Fourth day or longer: € 17 per day

Frequently asked questions about luggage lockers

I have lost the card for my locker

You will then pay an additional fee of €15 for losing the card. Ask a service employee at the station to help you open your locker.

Tip: from now on, take a clear photo of the QR code on the ticket with your phone. This often also allows you to open your locker.

I can't open my locker

Go to a Ticket & Service counter if there is one at your station. The staff there can assist you further. Outside the counter's opening hours, unfortunately, we cannot help you and you will have to come back the next day.

Is er geen Ticket & Service balie op jouw station? Neem dan contact op met Customer Service. They will then send security to assist you. It may take a while before they arrive.

I feel unsafe

Do you feel unsafe or is there an unsafe situation? Then send a WhatsApp message or SMS to our control room: +31 61 31 81 318. Please mention the station name and a short explanation of the situation.

In serious situations, always call 112 immediately.

Location of the luggage lockers

You must always be able to feel safe at our stations. For various reasons, our luggage lockers may be located in places that are not always fully visible. But precisely on a platform or more at the back or front inside a station.

Unfortunately, this cannot be changed so easily. This has to do with safety, electricity, and available space at the station.​​

My luggage has been removed from the locker

Have your belongings been taken out of the locker? Don't worry, the luggage is kept in our depot for up to 3 months.

If you want your luggage back, then search for your luggage among our found and lost items. We will then send the luggage to you.

You pay € 100 for administration, storage, and shipping costs.
