Travelling to Amsterdam
You can reach Amsterdam quickly by train from Schiphol. Eight Sprinters run every hour to Amsterdam Centraal, via Sloterdijk and Lelylaan. The journey takes about seventeen minutes. Travelling by train offers a comfortable and sustainable way to get there.
You can easily buy your ticket online without booking fees or at the NS Ticket Machines at the station. Remember to check in and out: use the check-in poles at Schiphol and the gates at Amsterdam Centraal. The trains usually depart from platform 3 and offer plenty of space for luggage, but always check the latest information on the boards.
