Many smaller stations without supervised bicycle storage offer bicycle lockers for rent. This keeps your bicycle safe and dry. You rent a bicycle locker with an annual season ticket. Read below to find out how it works.
How to rent a bicycle locker
A bicycle locker protects your bike from theft and weather. Please note that bicycle lockers are not suitable for motorcycles, mopeds or scooters.
Here is how it works:
- Find the station where you want to rent a bicycle locker.
- Purchase an annual season ticket.
- You will receive a key to open and close the locker yourself.
Are all bicycle lockers rented out?
If no lockers are available at your station, we will add you to the waiting list. You will receive an email every three months with your position on the list. We will notify you immediately when a bicycle locker becomes available.
How much does a bicycle locker cost?
An annual season ticket for a bicycle locker costs €119 per year. You pay this amount in advance.
What are the dimensions of the bicycle lockers?
There are two types of bicycle lockers:
Solid white model:
74.5 cm wide × 176 cm deep × 121.5 cm high
Model with mesh or grille door:
78.5 cm wide × 176 cm deep × 121.5 cm high
