How a staffed bicycle storage works
- Find a staffed bicycle storage near you.
- Check in with your OV-chipkaart at a service staff member or use the self-service terminal in the storage.
- When you collect your bike, pay with your OV-chipkaart or payment card.
Some bicycle storages have service staff while others are self-service. Self-service storages have access gates and are monitored by security cameras.
Bicycle storage opening hours
Most staffed bicycle storages are open from fifteen minutes before the first train until fifteen minutes after the last train. Opening hours vary by location. Check your bicycle storage for current times.
Maximum parking period of 28 days
You can park your bike for a maximum of 28 consecutive days. After this, we will remove it and take it to a bicycle depot.
How much does it cost to park your bike at the station?
At most staffed bicycle storages, parking is free for the first 24 hours. After that, rates vary depending on the location.
How to pay for parking
You can pay in two ways:
- Each time, using your payment card at the bicycle storage.
- Afterwards, by using Pay Later for Parking. If you have an NS Flex subscription, you will automatically use Pay Later for Parking.
Do you often park at the same bicycle storage?
Then an annual season ticket is convenient. You pay a fixed monthly fee and can park your bike unlimited times at that location. We load the season ticket directly onto your personal OV-chipkaart so you can use it right away.
