The Regio season ticket lets you travel unlimited on R-net trains between Alphen aan den Rijn and Gouda. You can also use this season ticket throughout the entire R-net network. It ensures a relaxed and worry-free public transport experience in South Holland.

What can you do with the Regio Abonnement?

This season ticket allows unlimited travel within the selected zones in South Holland on the lines operated by the listed providers.

Please note: the Regio Abonnement cannot be combined with Traject Vrij, NS Flex, or a class change.

What is the boarding fee?

The boarding fee for travelling with the Regio Abonnement within R-net is €10. Please ensure your OV-chipkaart has at least €10 loaded.

Can I get a discount on my Regio Abonnement?

You may be eligible for a 34 per cent discount in certain cases. For example, if you:

  • are a child (aged 4 to 11), a young person (aged 12 to 18), or are 65 or older.
  • are a student with a Student Travel Product and travel beyond your student travel entitlement.

How do check-in and check-out work with the Regio Abonnement?

You also check in and out for your journey with the Regio Abonnement. If you travel along the R-net route between Alphen aan den Rijn and Gouda, you do not need to check in again when transferring to NS. The reverse also applies: if you have already checked in with NS, you do not need to check in again for the R-net trains.

If you transfer to a bus, tram, metro, or another train operator, you must check in and out again.
