How does it work?

How to find and reserve a Check scooter:

  1. Find a scooter on the map or open the NS app and go to the map.
  2. Check whether a shared scooter is nearby.
  3. Tap a shared scooter and reserve it through the Check app.

You will see the walking route from your current location to the shared scooter. You are given ten minutes by default to reach the scooter.

Check scooter costs

Renting a Check scooter costs 35 cents per minute, with a start fee from 75 cents. Parking costs 15 cents per minute. Payment and reservations are handled through the Check app.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rent a Check-scooter with my NS season ticket?

You cannot rent a Check-scooter with your NS season ticket. You choose the payment method you want to use when you register in the Check app.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes. Wearing a helmet is mandatory on all scooters.

Each scooter has two helmets and hair nets in the top case. You are welcome to use your own helmet if you prefer.

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes. You need a motorcycle (type A) or car (type B) driving licence, or a moped certificate. You must also be 18 or older to use the scooters.

Before you take your first ride, add your driving licence in the Check-app.
