Travel to Appelpop by train
With its 32nd edition on 12 and 13 September, Appelpop is the ultimate finale to the festival season. The festival has held a valuable and very unique place in the festival world for years thanks to a broad and hugely popular programme. You do not need to worry about the price of your admission ticket, because this festival has been entirely free since the first edition in 1992.
Artists include Kensington, Guus Meeuwis, Davina Michelle, Chef’Special, Kraantje Pappie, Claude, Prins S. en de Geit, Hannah Mae, Maan, Rolf Sanchez, Meau, Russo and Nick Schilder. See the full programme at www.appelpop.nl. In total there will be more than 40 acts on the Waalkade during Appelpop, with five stages this year and a very varied line-up of artists and music genres.

Getting there
Located on the Waalkade in Tiel, Appelpop is easy to reach by public transport. Travel with NS for a relaxed, quick and sustainable journey to Tiel.
From Tiel station it is about a ten-minute walk to Appelpop.
Good to know
- Load your e-tickets onto your phone in the NS app before you travel. You can of course print them as well.
- Remember to bring a valid form of ID.
- You do not need to check in with an e-ticket. Gates can be opened using the e-ticket in the NS app.
