International convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses

From 14 to 16 August 2026 Jaarbeurs in Utrecht will host an international convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The theme is ‘Forever happy’. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free and there are no collections.

The convention has an especially international character this year. Of an estimated 36,000 visitors, around 6,000 will come from more than 20 countries, ranging from South Korea and Peru to Finland and Ivory Coast.

Does your journey start by car?
Park on a Park and Ride (P+R) site run by NS outside Utrecht to save money. During the summer the day rate is now a maximum of €2 plus the fare for your journey.

P+R - How to park at a Park and Ride (P+R) site

If you travel on a Friday and want to use the Groepsticket daluren, Nederland Dal Vrij or the PrijsTijd Deal, they are valid only in the off-peak hours. On weekdays the off-peak hours are before 06:30, between 09:00 to 16:00 and after 18:30. If you travel at the weekend or on a public holiday there is no distinction between off-peak hours and peak times.

Getting there by train

Jaarbeurs in Utrecht is easy to reach by train. Travelling with NS is relaxed, fast and more sustainable to Utrecht Centraal.

Please note

  • Engineering work on the tracks means buses replace trains on the Den Bosch - Geldermalsen, Almere - Weesp and Meppel - Zwolle routes. Preferably start your journey from a station closer to Utrecht.
  • Services to Utrecht Centraal are particularly limited on early Sunday mornings from many towns.
    Always check the NS Reisplanner before you travel.

From the station it is a five to ten minute walk to the main entrance of Jaarbeurs. The conference programme is available in different languages and halls:

  • Dutch in halls 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12
  • English in hall 7
  • Papiamento in hall 9

Good to know

  • Load your e-tickets onto your phone in the NS app before you travel. You can of course print them as well.
  • Remember to bring a valid form of ID.
  • You do not need to check in with an e-ticket. Gates can be opened using the e-ticket in the NS app.
