Fewer Intercity trains on some routes as a precautionary measure
The KNMI is forecasting several very hot days starting tomorrow and has therefore issued a Code Orange warning for extreme heat. From Wednesday through Saturday, fewer trains will run on certain routes as a precautionary measure to better manage any potential disruptions:
• Rotterdam – Leiden – Schiphol
• Arnhem – Utrecht – Schiphol
• The Hague Central – Amsterdam
• Alkmaar – Sittard
• Rotterdam – Utrecht
Between Bergen op Zoom and Zwolle, fewer trains will run only on Wednesday.
