How far in advance do I need to buy my ticket to use NS PrijsTijd Deal?

To take advantage of NS PrijsTijd Deal you must buy your ticket at least one day before your travel day. The earlier you book and the quieter the chosen time slot, the greater the saving. The discount can be up to 65%. In the Reisplanner you can immediately see which discount applies to the journey you select.

How many people can travel with the Groepsticket Daluren?

The Groepsticket Daluren can be used by groups of two to seven people. The larger the group, the greater the savings. Each person in the group receives their own e-ticket single ticket Group 2nd class.

Can I use the Co-travel discount?

If you travel in off-peak hours or at the weekend with someone you know who has an NS season ticket, use the Co-travel discount to get 40% off the fare for your journey. If you have an NS season ticket yourself, you can give a discount to up to three fellow travellers. You will be linked together using a co-travel code.

What do I need to do to travel with a payment card?

You do not need to do anything in advance to travel with a payment card. You do not need to register. You must, of course, have a valid payment card that supports contactless payment.

Can I get a refund if I do not use the ticket?

No. A refund or changing the ticket is not possible.

Which routes can I travel on with NS PrijsTijd Deal?

The NS PrijsTijd Deal is available for almost all journeys between NS stations. The discount applies on routes where there are enough quieter services. This varies by day and by route. Please note: travel to and from Schiphol Airport is excluded.

Does everyone in the group have to travel together?

Yes. Members of the same group must travel together at the same time. Each group has one main booker and one or more fellow travellers. The main rule is that a fellow traveller always travels with the main booker. Fellow travellers can board at the same time or at a later station.
