Ordering from Julia's

Information about the use of your data when you place an order through or Foodsy at a Julia's restaurant located at one of the stations.

What personal data do we use?

When you place an order at Julia's through or Foodsy, these services ask you to provide some personal data. Both and Foodsy are responsible for processing this personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They inform you through their privacy statement about the processing of your personal data. However, and Foodsy pass on some limited personal data to Julia's in order to process your order. The data that Julia's receives for this purpose includes your name, account name and contact details.

What do we use your personal data for?

The basis for the processing is: the legitimate interest.

Julia's needs this data to process your order. and Foodsy pass on your order, including your name, account name and contact details, to Julia's. Julia’s then goes ahead and processes your order. However, it's possible that the products you have ordered are not available. In this case, we will contact you to discuss whether you would like to change your order. This prevents both long queues and disappointments.

With whom do we share this data?

We contract third parties to provide IT and marketing services. These third parties process our information solely for our own internal use, and for no other purpose. We have made agreements with these parties pertaining to the processing of personal information.

We may transfer your personal information to parties outside the European Economic Area under certain circumstances. In that event, we will take suitable measures with these parties, for example by agreeing to the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

How long do we store your data?

When we receive your data from or Foodsy, we keep it for a maximum of 24 hours after you placed your order. We may use the data during this period to get in contact with you with respect to your order and to process your order in our system at the end of the day.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation (Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG)) gives you a number of rights to enable you to better protect and manage your personal data.
