Travelling with a visual impairment.
If you will be travelling with a visual impairment, NS would be happy to help make your journey as pleasant as possible. If you need help boarding or exiting the train, you can book NS Travel Assistance and a trained assistant will help you at the station. All stations in the Netherlands are also furnished with guide lines, and with an OV-chip Plus season ticket, you can book your train journeys by telephone or online. This page features all you need to know about travelling with a visual impairment, divided into three topics: preparing at home, at the station and on the train. You can also find links to information about the OV-chip Plus season ticket, the new NS Perronwijzer app and guide lines at the station.
