Access for residents

With an Interwijkpas, residents that live close to the station can go through the gates without using an OV-chipkaart.

How do I request an Interwijkpas?

Request an Interwijkpas as resident living close to on of the following train stations:

  • Alkmaar
  • Amersfoort Centraal
  • Amsterdam Amstel
  • Deventer
  • Dordrecht
  • Eindhoven Centraal
  • Gouda
  • Leiden Centraal
  • Sittard
  • Weesp
  • Zwolle

After you request the pass, we'll assess the application. As a local resident, you'll only receive an Interwijkpas if you live in a certain postal code area. This is determined in cooperation with the municipality.

If the request is approved, the passes are sent out within 5 to 10 working days.

How does the Interwijkpas work?

Open the gates at the station for free with this pass. After opening, you have 59 minutes to walk through the station .

The Interwijkpas is issued by name and may not be used by others. This pass works only at the station for which the pass was requested. You may not travel with the pass and it is not possible to put balance or products on the pass.
