It is extremely important for NS, including but not limited to the station manager concerned, to know who is carrying out work at a particular station, for example to prevent unauthorised modifications to stations. In addition, NS should be able to contact a supplier in the event that defects are found at a later date in the work that has been carried out. Another purpose for this data concerns the meetings that take place four times a year with each supplier about work that has been or is yet to be carried out. To ensure the effectiveness of these meetings, it's important for NS and others to know which suppliers have carried out which work in the previous months.
