When you wish to use an OV-fiets, the data we use includes the data on your OV chipkaart and the transaction data. You provided us with these data when you purchased the OV-fiets season ticket.
If you are the holder or booker of an NS Business Card issued by NS Zakelijk, we will use your business contact details, if possible.

In order to use an OV-fiets, you require a season ticket. You can purchase this online. We use your contact details and card number for this season ticket. You can link the season ticket to any personalised OV chipkaart.

It is in your interest and ours that we improve our services. For this reason, NS processes your transaction data in aggregated form for marketing purposes when you rent an OV-fiets from NS. For example, we are interested in the most popular rental locations, rental during the morning or evening rush hour, or the net turnover each month. If you would prefer that NS did not process your transaction data for these purposes, then you can unsubscribe.
With whom do we share this information?
We contract third parties to provide IT and marketing services. These third parties process our information solely for our own internal use, and for no other purpose. We have made agreements with these parties pertaining to the processing of personal information.
We are authorised to provide your personal information to parties outside the European Economic Community under certain circumstances. In that event, we will take suitable measures with these parties, for example by agreeing to the standard provisions required by the European Commission.
How long do we store your information?
We store your personal data for up to 18 months after you use the OV-fiets.
