Ede-Wageningen
Ede-Wageningen is getting a completely new, eye-catching station that is being built a stone's throw to the east of the current station. The new station will be a modern and uncluttered public transport hub and will be the showpiece of the Municipality of Ede-Wageningen.
Optimal accessibility and good facilities
The station surroundings will also be completely remodelled, with major changes to the infrastructure to make it optimally accessible. The new rail zone will connect two new residential neighbourhoods in Ede. Thanks to this renovation, almost all travellers will approach the station from the south side. This will make it possible to double the number of shops (500 m2} and give the traveller an attractive selection of facilities, such as a bicycle storage facility for 6,000 bicycles and good parking facilities.
Partnership
The Municipality of Ede, ProRail and NS Stations are collaborating on the Spoorzone Ede project, which is financed in part by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment and the Province of Gelderland.
